Cosy knits you need this winter

Posted by Philosophy Australia on

It's beginning to feel a lot like winter is coming in Sydney, homebase of Philosophy.  Still nice during the day, but starting to get decidedly chilly in the mornings and evenings!
Introducing the two knitwear pieces you need in your wardrobe this winter! Cocoon in Silver, our short sleeve draped V neck tunic knit; and Capa in Gold, our ruched sleeve knit with detachable knit snood.
Our cut and sew knitwear pieces are all about warmth without the weight.  They're light and cosy to wear, yet impart lots of comfort and cosiness.

Cocoon Knit Poncho Tunic

This fabulous piece is oversized for a cosy fit.  Designed to be layered, the Silver soft grey shade is a great neutral.
You can dress it up by layering over a tailored white shirt and fitted pants, or dress it down with a striped long sleeve tee and jeans.
The wide short sleeves, draped V neck and side splits add detail to this simple yet oh so versatile piece.

Capa Knit Snood Tunic

Another fabulous piece, designed for flattering comfort. The bright mustard Gold colour is bang on trend this autumn winter - again - and works back beautifully with neutrals as well as colours like teal, blush, aubergine and denim.
Designed during COVID lockdown, Capa has a detachable knit snood, inspired by a face mask!
Ruched sleeve detail add interest and make it easy to place the sleeves where they sit best for you. The scoop hem is oh so flattering!
The lightweight knit packs a punch in the cosy stakes, but is easy to tuck, knot with a hair tie, and layer, giving it versatility.
Which one is your favourite? We can't decide! They layer beautifully together for extra chilly days, so why not both!
